Volunteer at our 2025 Sock Sorting & Distribution Event

ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEER SHIFTS ARE NOW FULL! Thanks to everyone who signed up to help us on Feb. 1st!!

Join us at our 2025 Sock Sorting & Distribution Event where we need your help to sort, bag, and tag socks collected through Indie88’s Socks for the Streets Campaign for delivery to organizations that serve the unhoused.  

Date: Saturday, February 1st, 2025.
Choose from two shifts:
– 9:00 am to 11:30 am (FULL)
– 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm (FULL)

Where: Poly Five Plastics – 205 Limestone Cres., North York, Ontario (Steeles and Keele) 

Things to note:

– We will be working in an unheated factory, so please dress warmly.
– You must be 12 years of age or older to participate.
– Volunteers between 12 and 18 must have a parent/guardian register on their behalf.
– High school students can earn volunteer hours.
– All volunteers will receive an event day information email prior to Saturday, February 1st. 

If you know of any shelters that might need socks, please have them register for a sock request at our HERE.
