2024 Sock Sorting & Distribution Event

We are thrilled to be back with our 2024 Sock Sorting & Distribution Event and we need your help to sort, bag, and tag socks collected through Indie88’s Socks for the Streets Campaign for delivery to homeless shelters and agencies.

Date: Saturday, February 10th, 2024.

Choose from two shifts (9:00 am to 11:30am or 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm)

Where: Poly 5 Plastics – 205 Limestone Cres., North York, Ontario (Steeles and Keele)

How do I register?

Register here for one of our volunteer windows on Saturday, February 10th. It’s that easy!

All volunteers must sign-up individually.

Things to note:

– We will be working in an unheated factory, so please dress warmly.

– You must be 12 years of age or older to participate

– Volunteers between 12 and 18 must have a parent/guardian register on their behalf.

– High school students can earn volunteer hours.

If you know of any shelters that might need socks, please have them register for a sock request at our website socks4soulscanada.com.

Help us spread warmth, comfort and mobility to homeless people in the GTA.
